Pack 122 is in the Coastal Sage district of the San Diego-Imperial Scouting America (formerly known as Boy Scouts of America) council and serves all youth from Kindergarten through the Fifth Grade. Scouts are broken into small groups called dens, by grade level, which stay together throughout their Cub Scout journey. All of the dens make up the pack.
During the schoolyear, the pack meets most months on a Wednesday evening at 6:30PM in Granzer Hall at Coronado Middle School (Pack 122 is not sponsored by Coronado Unified School District). Dens set their own meeting schedules. In addition to our regular pack meetings there are special events, like walking in the Coronado Holiday Parade, the Pinewood Derby (a Saturday afternoon in January), and two camp-outs per year (fall and spring). We also have our largest event, the Blue & Gold Banquet, which is held on a Saturday evening in March. In the summer we keep things going with occasional pack activities, and our council offers things like day or resident camps and single-day activities.
Cub Scout Pack 122 was first chartered in 1970. We are chartered by the Optimist Club of Coronado.
